Carr has a gift for creating wonderful, believable characters I’ve been waiting for ‘The Promise’ for several books now — or rather, for Scott’s story. I knew when he first moved to Thunder Point that it was only a matter of time before this dedicated doctor and wonderful father found the right woman, and I was excited to see who that might be.
