Nice introduction and overview of the profession – with a discussion of how it differs from nurse practitioners and other medical professional fields – it’s easy to read, and doesn’t assume knowledge of the profession as some books do – I remember back when I was applying to medical school – it was really hard to find a book which talked in general about some of the basics of what the profession did – sometimes it was so specific, when all I really wanted was a forest from the trees perspective.2. Great compilation of all the schools offering P.A. programs – their costs, contact information, etc.: while some people might say, oh well, you can just get that off the internet, and compile it together yourself – while that is true, it drains so much time…
